About Us

The Santa Narcisa de Jesús Educational Unit, located in Nobol, has 51 years of experience. Its origins date back to 1960 with the initiative of the parish priest Juan Fernández Marín, and in 1974 it opened its first basic cycle classrooms under the direction of Father Michael Charbonneau Robida. Over the years, with the leadership of rectors such as Father Christian Forte and Monsignor Plácido Muñoz, the institution expanded its infrastructure, incorporated technical baccalaureates, and opened primary and kindergarten levels. It was then administered by the Red Educativa Arquidiocesana (REA) and the Diocese of Daule.

In 2025, it became part of the Red Educativa de la Junta de Beneficencia, initiating a renovation process with modern classrooms, a hybrid model with technological support, and a comprehensive approach led by Magister Narcisa Celleri Robles. That same year, it officially adopted the name Santa Narcisa de Jesús Educational Unit, reaffirming its commitment to training free, responsible, and supportive young people, at the service of their community and society.

School Levels

Initial and Preschool

In this stage, we prioritize learning through play, allowing children to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them. We use an active and playful methodology that stimulates the development of language, motor skills, creativity, and logical thinking. From the early years, we promote contact with English in a fun and natural way, in addition to fostering emotional and human development, preparing a solid foundation for their future education.

Primary School

During primary education, our learners develop fundamental skills to understand their environment, solve problems, and communicate effectively. They learn to read comprehensively, write texts with an appropriate structure, and participate in conversations and debates on topics of their interest. Through integrative projects, they investigate their community and the country, critically reflect on social and environmental issues, and apply mathematical operations in daily life. We also promote entrepreneurship, the responsible use of technology, emotional and human development, as well as autonomy to learn with enthusiasm.

Secondary School

This stage strengthens critical thinking and active participation in social, political, and environmental issues, both locally and globally. Learners produce argumentative essays, present ideas clearly, and participate in discussions and community projects. They face academic challenges that require the use of technological tools, mathematical models, and data analysis. In addition, they construct an ethical vision of their environment, develop leadership skills, teamwork, and the ability to make responsible decisions, always from human values and environmental awareness.

Baccalaureate

The Baccalaureate is a key stage that prepares young people for their entry into the workforce or for the continuation of higher education. With the support of the Department of Well-being and Tutoring, learners receive vocational guidance that allows them to choose their path with clarity.

We offer three modalities:

Baccalaureate in Sciences, which strengthens academic skills and critical thinking, providing a solid foundation for pursuing university studies.

Technical Baccalaureate, which integrates general education with a technical specialization in a specific area, preparing learners for both the world of work and higher education in that field. Career: Computer Science with emphasis in Data Analysis.

Dual Baccalaureate, inspired by the German educational system, which combines theory with professional practice. From the second year of Baccalaureate onwards, young people are trained in the school and in a company, thus obtaining valuable work experience and a German international certification. Career: Industrial Technician
