The Guayaquil Charity Board, through its Educational Segment, has launched the JBG Educación Volunteer Program in its new institutions: Unidad Educativa Mercedes Calderón, Unidad Educativa Freire Stabile (Playas), Unidad Educativa Narcisa de Jesús (Nobol) and its affiliated schools Nuestra Señora de la Sabiduría (Lomas de Sargentillo) and Promesas Lucianas (Santa Lucía).

This initiative seeks to strengthen the bond between home and the educational institution, promoting the active participation of parents and legal guardians in the school life of their children, as an essential part of the educational community.

Who can participate?

The program is aimed at parents or legal guardians of students from the institutions who wish to voluntarily contribute their time, skills and commitment.

Requirements to join the program:

  1. Be a parent or legal guardian of a student at the institution.
  2. Have a willing and supportive spirit.
  3. Attend an induction and training talk about the program.
  4. Sign a commitment document formalizing their participation as a volunteer.

This program is part of the integral vision of JBG Educación, which seeks not only high academic achievements and professional training, but also an education with a human focus, where the family is the protagonist of the formative process. With this initiative, the Junta de Beneficencia reaffirms its commitment to a quality, inclusive and participatory education, in which all actors of the educational community are an active part of the transformation.
